Request for Quotation (RFQ) Documentation

Econolibrium believes in the open tendering process (RFQ) and is in complete acknowledgement and compliance with Ontario’s Broader Public Sector (BPS) Procurement Directive. This is to ensure that all publically funded goods and services, including equipment, construction, consulting services and technologies are acquired through a process that is open, fair, transparent, delivers quality service, provides standardization and delivers value for money. We also believe that this process should be adhered to for private industry as well.

a. Procurement of Major Equipment via Confidential Invited Bid Tender

Econolibrium has extensive experience with “Design-Build” projects in Ontario and we have developed an extensive, comprehensive network of pre-qualified suppliers, locally, nationally and internationally. Under the RFQ, we will confidentially invite the appropriate suppliers to competitively bid your major equipment package(s), protecting your organization from unsolicited, unwanted attention from the general marketplace.

b. Procurement of Construction Contractor Services via Acceptable Invited Bid or Public Tendering Procedure

Econolibrium is equally knowledgeable with screening and inviting all of the related Construction trades/sub-trades required to fulfill your project under a transparent RFQ procedure.

c. Detailed Scope of Work (SOW)

The SOW is the area in the related construction documentation where the work to be performed is described in absolute detail. It will contain specific milestones, reports, deliverables and end products that are expected to be provided by the performing parties. It will also include timelines for execution. The energy saving project design and build requires a highly detailed SOW to be prepared. Econolibrium will develop this SOW document for each necessary trade/sub-trade and we will monitor the deliverables and execution under the agreement.
